Alcohol-free -1 C/min controlled-rate freezing in a -80 C freezer. No isopropanol, no pre-cooling, no consumables.
CellHome reaches the classic -1 C/min cooling rate without isopropanol. High-performance insulation plus a thermally conductive metal core balances heat transfer and air micro-convection, so cells dehydrate gradually instead of forming damaging ice spikes.
Fill the tray, close the lid, place the unit upright in a -80 C freezer with at least 3 cm clearance, leave it 3-4 hours, then move the vials to vapour-phase storage. The core stays at room temperature between runs, so it can be handled bare-handed and reused immediately.
